Job summary

Godshall Recruiting is seeking a senior finance leader to oversee accounting and cost accounting across multiple manufacturing locations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and strong internal controls.

You will manage monthly close, forecasting, budgeting, and financial reporting, partner with leadership for actionable insights, mentor the finance team, and drive profitable growth through rigorous analysis.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
• 5+ years of progressive finance and accounting experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong cost accounting expertise including inventory management, standard costing, and variance analysis.
• Proven experience leading financial reporting, forecasting, budgeting, and internal controls.

• Lead and develop finance team, support audits, budgeting, and strategic planning.

Salary: $95,000-$105,000

• Lead all accounting and financial activities across multiple business locations, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and compliance.
• Oversee cost accounting functions, including inventory valuation, standard costing, and manufacturing variance analysis.
• Manage monthly close, financial reporting, EBITDA forecasting, cash flow forecasting, and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Partner with leadership to provide financial analysis, performance metrics, and recommendations that support profitable growth.
• Monitor inventory performance, capital expenditures, operational efficiency, and internal controls.
• Lead and develop finance team members while supporting audits, budgeting, and strategic planning initiatives.

To be a champion in this role, you will need:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field 5+ years of progressive finance and accounting experience within a manufacturing environment Strong cost accounting expertise, including inventory management, standard costing, and variance analysis Proven experience leading financial reporting, forecasting, budgeting, and internal control processes CPA and/or CMA certification strongly preferred Strong leadership, analytical, communication, and decision-making skills with the ability to influence business results
