Job summary

NTK Precision Axle Corporation seeks a Controller to lead accounting, finance, and compliance for its manufacturing operations. The role oversees a Senior Accountant and Accountant, with responsibility for the monthly close, budgeting, and corporate reporting.

Key duties include cash flow management, A/R/credit control, cost analysis, and cost audits to support pricing and inventory valuation. Strong leadership and manufacturing accounting experience are essential.

Job description

The Controller is in charge of accounting, finance, budget control, accounts payable, credit and collections, US customs and J-Sox processes and compliance. This position directly manages the Senior Accountant, Accountant.

• Monthly close/semi-annual closing/ Fiscal year closing (March of each year).
• Corporate reporting requirements of monthly, quarterly and annual performances.
• Establish company business plan and projections related to that plan.
• Cash Flow Management.
• Accounts receivable and credit and rebates.
• Collections including cash applications.
• Protects organization’s value by keeping information confidential.
• Implements cost control procedures and provides staff supervision over cost systems and methods.
• Follows up expenditures of appropriations and supervises the assembly of data and comparisons of various budget items.
• Conducts special cost studies for use in setting selling prices and establishing inventory prices for in-process and finished products.
• Supervises the maintenance of inventory records of products.
• Develops or improves methods of calculating and controlling costs.
• Compiles cost data for use in developing operating budgets.
• Directs cost audits and their interpretation that will assist management in directing and controlling operations.
• Provides financial analyses of operations for guidance of management and prepares reports that outline plant’s financial position in areas of income, expenses, and earnings.

• Customs experience; familiarity with purchasing programs
