Job summary

CFS is seeking a Controller to join its finance leadership, overseeing budgeting, closing, and financial reporting for a manufacturing organization.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance and at least 5 years of experience, with advanced Excel and ERP proficiency. Indiana on-site location with a competitive salary range.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• Minimum 5 years of accounting/financial analysis in manufacturing.
• Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs.
• Familiarity with data mining and ERP systems; strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate budget and business planning activities.
• Ensure timely monthly, quarterly and year-end closes and reconciliations.
• Prepare and publish financial statements and forecasts.
• Coordinate auditing processes.
• Review goals for growth and margin contribution.

Overview Of The Controller Role

• Plan and coordinate budget and business planning activities in alignment with corporate policies and practices
• Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly and year-end closes, and related general ledger and bank reconciliations
• Prepare and publish financial statements including budgets, internal and external reports, forecasts, and income statements
• Coordinate auditing processes
• Review and set goals within the organization for continued growth and margin contribution

Preferred Qualifications And Experience For The Controller Role

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• At least 5 years of relevant accounting or financial analysis experience within a manufacturing company
• Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables and VLOOKUP's
• Must be highly computer literate and be familiar with data mining and ERP systems
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage multiple teams simultaneously and prioritize based on deadlines

Salary: $100,000 - $150,000
