Job summary

C.R. Fletcher Associates, Inc. seeks a seasoned Controller to lead all accounting operations, reporting directly to the President/CEO and providing visibility across the business.

The role will strengthen financial systems, processes, and controls to support future growth, including treasury, cash management, and project accounting. The Controller will oversee the accounting team, drive monthly and year-end closes, and ensure accurate financial reporting while coordinating with the external CPA

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, including accounting leadership in construction or related industry.
• Experience with project/contract accounting, treasury operations, and financial reporting.
• Trimble Vista experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead all accounting operations, including GL, AP, AR, payroll, fixed assets, project accounting, cash management, and financial reporting.
• Manage monthly and year-end close, revenue recognition, internal controls, tax compliance, and coordination with external CPA firm.
• Oversee cash flow forecasting, banking relationships, working capital, credit facilities, equipment financing, and treasury activities.
• Lead and develop the accounting team while ensuring accurate and timely financial information.
• Serve as the financial lead for Trimble Vista, including reporting, integrations, automation, data integrity, and process improvements.

Exciting opportunity to join a growing construction company and play a key role in its continued expansion. The Controller will work closely with the President/CEO, have visibility across the business, and help strengthen the financial operations, systems, and processes needed to support future growth.

The Controller will lead the company’s accounting and financial operations, including financial reporting, treasury, cash management, project accounting, and financial systems. This is a hands‑on leadership role overseeing the accounting team.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead all accounting operations, including GL, AP, AR, payroll, fixed assets, project accounting, cash management, and financial reporting.
