Job summary

TurnPoint Services is seeking a seasoned Controller to helm financial operations onsite, guiding accounting, reporting, and strategy. You’ll partner with senior leadership to deliver accurate financials, strategic insights, and growth-focused initiatives.

You will lead a hands-on team, drive efficient close cycles, and implement strong controls while partnering across departments to support profitability and scalability.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience as a Controller in fast-paced environments.
• Ability to interpret complex financial data and provide strategic recommendations.
• Deep expertise in P&L management, balance sheet reconciliations, job costing, and inventory control.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including PivotTables and VLOOKUP for financial modeling.
• Hands-on leader who collaborates with senior leadership to drive results.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-focused mindset.

Responsibilities

• Lead the monthly close process with accurate financial statements.
• Manage and mentor the accounting team (AP, AR, payroll).
• Partner with the General Manager to develop budgets and analyze trends.
• Identify and implement process improvements to strengthen controls and efficiency.
• Monitor AR aging and drive collections with leadership alignment.
• Coordinate with external auditors and stakeholders to ensure policy alignment.

As our Controller, you will be at the heart of our financial operations, leading the management of accounting, reporting, and financial strategy onsite. You will partner closely with senior leadership to provide strategic insights, guide key decisions, and drive the overall financial success of the company. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the monthly close process, ensuring financial statements are accurate, complete, and delivered on time.
• Manage and mentor the accounting team, overseeing accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), and payroll.
• Partner with the General Manager to develop budgets, analyze financial trends, and provide data-driven insights for strategic decision-making.
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and maintain strong financial controls.
• Monitor accounts receivable aging and collaborate with leadership to manage overdue accounts and maximize collections.
• Work directly with the corporate finance team, external auditors, and key stakeholders to ensure compliance and alignment with business goals.

Licenses & Certifications
