Responsabilidades

• Oversee accounting operations: AP, AR, payroll, GL, month-end close.
• Partner with leadership on budgeting, forecasting, and cost management.
• Prepare financial statements, management reports, and budget-to-actual analyses.
• Manage payroll administration and employee benefits programs.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations and internal controls.
• Oversee vendor relationships, invoicing, and timely payments.
• Coordinate internal and external audits and document transactions.

The Controller will report directly to the CFO and play a critical role in overseeing the company’s accounting operations and financial processes. He or she will help manage a small team, maintain accurate financial records, manage payroll and risk-related activities and drive process improvements.

Success in this role requires strong technical accounting expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with teams across the organization.

• Support the CFO and oversee accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, general ledger maintenance, and month-end close activities.
• Partner with leadership on budgeting, forecasting, cost management, and identifying process improvements and cost-saving opportunities.
• Work closely with CFO to prepare accurate financial statements, management reports, and budget-to-actual analyses to support business decision-making.
• Manage payroll administration and support employee benefits programs, including health and retirement plans.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, internal controls, and company financial policies.
• Oversee vendor relationships, contract negotiations, invoice approvals, and timely payment processing to optimize cost and service quality.
• Coordinate internal and external audits while ensuring financial transactions are properly documented, reconciled, and maintained.
