NovaSource Power Services is seeking a Senior Controller to report to Corporate Finance leadership. You will manage monthly closings, oversee ERP systems, and ensure accurate revenue recognition and reconciliations for a fast‑growing organization.

The role requires a BS in accounting plus 3+ years of controller experience, with preference for global, multi‑subsidiary exposure. Strong Excel, ERP, and BI skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• BS degree in accounting and 3+ years Controller experience in an operational environment.
• Experience in a global, multi-subsidiary organization is preferred.
• Hands-on technical accounting skills with strong controls and process orientation.
• Experience in inventory management and leading financial professionals.
• Proficiency in Excel and MS Office; Power BI and DataRails a plus.

Responsabilités

Summary

TheControllerrolewillreport to the Vice Presidentof Corporate Finance and overseethe accountingoperations.This rolewill work with Finance and other business leaders to develop and implement robust processes for a fast-growing organization.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Organize and facilitate the monthly closing process to meet corporate deadlines.
• Responsible for ERP (MSD 365 Business Central) environment to ensure efficient processes and timely data output; customize and support internal reporting needs, recommend, and implement processes improvements or enhancements.
• Ensure accurate revenue recognition and cost accruals.
• Ensure completion of all monthly account reconciliations
• Develop and maintain process documentation for all accounting processes.
• Work with other NSPS subsidiaries to facilitate and reconcile intercompany transactions.
• Coordinate with Billing & Contracts team to ensure costs are recorded accurately and billings to customers are complete.
• Coordinate sales & use and property tax reporting and ensure compliance and timely filing.
• Find and implement opportunities for process improvement in company tax procedures.
• Participate in and/or coordinate external audits.
• Recommend and implement accuracy and productivity improvements for the accounting team, in coordination with group goals and objectives.

Requirements:

• BS degree in accounting and 3+ years Controller experience in an operational
  environment, CPA preferred.
• Demonstrated experience in a global, multi-subsidiary organization.
• Hands-on approach with strong technical accounting skills
• Strong experience in inventory management and controls
• Demonstrated experience leading a team of financial professionals, including experience in performance appraisals, goal setting and KPI tracking.
• Experience in solar/renewable industry or other energy services is a plus; M&A
  experience also preferred.
• Strong business acumen and ability to drive operational improvements.
• Proficiency in Excel and MS Office applications.
• Proficiency in PowerBi and Datarails a plus.
