Job summary

Heartview Foundation is seeking a Controller to lead the Accounting Department in Bismarck, ND. You will oversee the financial close, reporting, and internal controls to ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial records.

You will partner with leadership to strengthen budgeting, cost accounting, and management reporting to drive informed decisions and continuous improvement across the organization.

Job description

In this role, you will serve as the primary resource for routine accounting matters and are responsible for the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of financial records and reporting. The position supervises accounting staff; oversees the general ledger, financial close, reconciliations, internal controls, grant accounting, and audit preparation; and serves as the primary resource for routine accounting matters. The Controller partners with the Chief Financial Officer to strengthen financial systems, budgeting, management reporting, and cost accounting so organizational leaders have timely and relevant information to manage Heartview effectively.
