Havenwyck Hospital in Auburn Hills, MI, part of Universal Health Services, is seeking a dynamic Controller to join our compassionate behavioral health team. You will oversee the accounting processes to ensure reliable and timely financial information and report to the Chief Financial Officer.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration required.
• 3 years of supervisory healthcare experience; 5 years preferred.
• Knowledge of accrual-based accounting and month-end closing.
• Experience in multiple areas of healthcare finance and accounting.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, McKesson G/L, Hyperion Planning and MS4 Patient Accounting system a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee accounting processes to ensure reliable and timely financial information.
• Report to the Chief Financial Officer and support financial planning.
• Supervise accounting staff and ensure month-end close accuracy.
• Collaborate with leadership on budgeting and financial reporting.

Education

CONTROLLER

Havenwyck Hospital is a Joint Commission-accredited and licensed psychiatric hospital, overlooking Lake Galloway in Auburn Hills, Michigan. We specialize in providing comprehensive, compassionate behavioral health services to children, adolescents and adults. Havenwyck Hospital is seeking a dynamic and talented Controller to join our team of compassionate, dedicated professionals.

The Controller oversees the accounting processes to assure financial information is reliable and timely. This position reports to the Chief Financial Officer.
