If You Have:

Prior experience as a Controller or in a similar high-level accounting role
Proficiency with NetSuite (or similar accounting software)
Experience managing all aspects of the monthly close process, account reconciliations, and financial reporting
Payroll processing experience
Knowledge of sales tax compliance and filings
Experience working with insurance underwriters and obtaining performance bonds
A proven ability to supervise AP/AR teams and assist with day-to-day issues
Strong collaboration skills to work with outside CPA firms, lenders, and other business partners
High integrity, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently with little transition support

You Will Be:

Managing the monthly close process, including preparing and reviewing account reconciliations for all Balance Sheet accounts
Processing weekly payroll accurately and timely
Preparing and filing monthly sales tax returns
Working with insurance underwriters to obtain and maintain performance bonds
Supervising and providing guidance to accounts payable and accounts receivable clerks
Supporting the company’s tax return and financial statement preparation in collaboration with the outside CPA
Working directly with the company’s lender to prepare and deliver required reporting for line-of-credit draws
Taking ownership of the integrity and accuracy of all financial processes and controls
Helping drive improvements and efficiencies within the accounting function
