Job summary

CFS is seeking a Controller to join our Wisconsin-based leadership team. This role offers visibility at the executive level, overseeing accounting operations across multiple operating companies within a project-driven construction environment.

The Controller will lead the month-end close, drive forecasting and budgeting, and partner with executives on financial strategy to support an aggressive growth plan.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 10+ years of accounting and finance experience.
• Prior leadership or management experience.
• Construction industry experience required.

Responsibilities

• Lead the month-end close process and prepare monthly financial statements.
• Oversee financial reporting for multiple business units.
• Support forecasting, budgeting, and strategic financial planning.
• Manage job costing and financial analysis within a construction ERP environment.
• Oversee tax preparation and union payroll processes.
• Serve as a financial business partner to executive leadership.
