HandyTrac Systems, LLC is seeking an experienced Controller to oversee all financial and reporting activities. The role includes accounting, staff supervision, sales tax management, and assisting with audits.

Responsibilities include AR/AP, monthly statements, variance analysis, budgeting, inventory control, and external audits. Strong Excel and QuickBooks Enterprise skills preferred; Avalara tax reporting experience is a plus.

Competenze

• College degree with accounting major or equivalent.
• 10+ years accounting/business experience.
• Experience with QuickBooks Enterprise preferred.

Excellent position with an expanding company. HandyTrac is a locally owned and operated companythatprovides key control systems to the multifamily industry nationwide, as well as water conservation programs through its affiliated company WaterSignal. The Controller will be responsible for overseeing all financial and reporting activities, including accounting andstaff supervision, sales tax management, and audit assistance.

Responsibilities:

• Accounts receivable, accounts payable
• Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analysis
• Inventory control
• Prepare annual budgets and forecasts
• Manage annual external audits
• Prepare tax workpaper files for corporate accrual and cash basis entities
• Maintain insurance programs
• Assist with cash management
• Assist with HR
• Supervise staff of 4

Knowledge/Skills:

• A strong professional with ability to work independently to handle multiple projects
• Knowledge of QuickBooks Enterprise preferred
• Knowledge of Avalara Sales Tax reporting an advantage
• Proficient in Excel at an advanced level
• Good organizational skills

Education/Experience:

College degree with accounting major or equivalent +10 years of accounting/business experience.
