Financial Additions is seeking a Corporate Controller to lead both corporate and property accounting for a growing commercial real estate firm. The role reports to the CFO and requires a CPA with strong CRE accounting, multi-unit oversight, and leadership capabilities.

The ideal candidate will drive financial reporting, oversee acquisitions and refinancings, and collaborate with external CPA firms to ensure accuracy and strategic insight for budgeting and planning.

Formación

• CPA required; strong background in corporate accounting and property accounting for CRE.
• 8+ years experience in either Public Accounting (Real Estate clients) or leadership in Corporate Accounting at a CRE firm.
• Multi-unit accounting / Property accounting experience; supervisory experience.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and develop the corporate accounting department and the property accounting department.
• Manage all financial reporting and financial statement preparation with your team.
• Lead the accounting for acquisitions, dispositions, asset transfers, and loan refinancing.
• Work with external CPA firm.
• Partner with the CFO on cash flow, strategic planning, budgeting and Ad-Hoc reporting/projects.

Financial Additions is working with a leading commercial real estate firm in their search for a Corporate Controller. This role includes both accounting and operations and reports to the CFO. We are looking for a CPA with a strong background in both corporate accounting and property accounting. The CFO is fantastic and is an awesome leader! Controller Background

• Bachelors Degree in Accounting
• CPA
• 8+ years experience in either Public Accounting (Real Estate clients) or Leadership role in Corporate Accounting department of Commercial Real Estate firm
• Multi-unit accounting / Property Accounting
• MRI and/or Yardi
• Strong Excel skills
• Supervisory experience with both Property Accounting and Corporate Accounting teams
