Job summary

The Dudley, MA facility of EssilorLuxottica seeks an Operations Lead to serve as the process expert for the Controlled Room, ensuring safety, quality, cost and delivery. You will act as the primary contact for all controlled room activities and align goals with site leadership.

You will coordinate shift manpower, deliver TWI-based training, drive continuous improvement, and maintain up-to-date standards while collaborating with engineering and supervision teams.

Qualifications

• Education equivalent to a high school diploma or GED.
• Strong technical competencies and process expertise.
• Strong human relations skills.
• Able to motivate teams and translate complex information.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a safe working environment at all times.
• Be the single point of contact for all activities touching the controlled room operation.
• Be a process expert on all aspects of the controlled room operation and defects.
• Coordinate manpower at the start of the shift.
• Deliver training to the standard using the TWI approach and our training system.
• Assist and challenge manufacturing engineering on process improvements.
• Own and update the operational standards and related documentation.
