Job summary

Hoppen Home Systems LLC is seeking an experienced Control4 Programmer to join our growing luxury smart home team. You will install, configure, and commission residential and commercial automation systems and program Control4 software, delivering premium customer experiences.

This role involves advanced audio/video installations, network configuration, lighting and shade integrations, field troubleshooting, and collaboration with homeowners and project stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 1–3+ years experience in Control4 programming and setup; certification preferred.
• 3+ years experience with whole-house audio/video and home theaters.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Able to work independently and in a team.
• Clean driving record and ability to pass background screening.
• Willing to participate in rotating on-call schedule.
• Some travel required.

Responsibilities

What You'll Do:

• Install, configure, and commission residential & commercial automation systems

• Diagnose and resolve service issues independently in the field

Minimum Job Qualifications:

• 1-3+ years experience in Control4 programming and system setup, Control4 certification preferred
• At least 3 years experience installing, calibrating, whole house audio/video, home theaters, surround sound systems
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Clean driving record and ability to pass background screening
• Ability to participate in rotating on‑call service schedule
• Ability to use hand and power tools
• Some travel required

Optional Job Qualifications:

• 3-5 years experience in security systems: wiring, setup, programming, troubleshooting, setup monitoring services (Honeywell, DSC)
• 3-5 years experience in CCTV systems: wiring, design, setup, troubleshooting
• 3-5 years experience in structure wiring: cabling, terminations, testing
