Job summary

ProSource Buying Group in Tampa, FL is seeking an experienced Control4 Programmer who thrives on solving complex technical challenges and delivering exceptional customer experiences in luxury smart home systems.

Install, configure, and commission residential and commercial automation; program Control4 systems; calibrate audio/video; configure networks; integrate lighting, surveillance, and third-party devices; travel as needed. Excellent communication with homeowners and teams is essential.

Qualifications

• 1–3+ years experience in Control4 programming and system setup; certification preferred.
• 3+ years experience installing, calibrating, whole-house audio/video and home theaters.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Clean driving record and ability to pass background screening.
• On-call service rotation may be required.
• Ability to use hand and power tools.
• Some travel required.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and commission residential & commercial automation systems.
• Program and troubleshoot Control4 automation systems.
• Perform advanced audio/video installations and calibrations.
• Configure and troubleshoot residential & commercial networks.
• Install and integrate surveillance, LED lighting, landscape lighting, motorized shade systems and other third-party products.
• Diagnose and resolve service issues independently in the field.
• Communicate professionally with homeowners and project stakeholders.
• Maintain project documentation and installation standards.

What You'll Do:

• Install, configure, and commission residential & commercial automation systems
• Program and troubleshoot Control4 automation systems
• Perform advanced audio/video installations and calibrations

Minimum Job Qualifications:

• Ability to participate in rotating on-call service schedule
• Ability to use hand and power tools
• Some travel required

Optional Job Qualifications:

• 3-5 years experience in security systems: wiring, setup, programming, troubleshooting, setup monitoring services (Honeywell, DSC)
• 3-5 years experience in CCTV systems: wiring, design, setup, troubleshooting
• 3-5 years experience in structure wiring: cabling, terminations, testing
