Job summary

Wilmington Trust, N.A. is seeking a Control Testing Lead within ISWM Risk & Control Management in Wilmington, DE.

You will execute risk-based testing programs, assess control design and operating effectiveness, and partner with control owners to identify gaps and strengthen the control environment. The role requires hands-on testing experience, RCSA, issue management, and the ability to manage multiple engagements while communicating findings to stakeholders.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 3 years' relevant work experience, or a combined minimum of 7 years' higher education and/or work experience with at least 3 years in relevant work
Strong understanding of control testing methodologies, including control design and operating effectiveness testing.

Responsibilities

Plan, execute, and report on the risk-based testing program in line with policies and standards.
Conduct walkthroughs with owners to map processes, risks, and controls.
Develop testing plans, scripts, and test cases for design and operating effectiveness.
Sample testing populations per established methodologies.
Document testing results and maintain evidence in designated repositories.
Lead testing activities and ensure quality, timeliness, and consistency.
