Job summary

Vantage Data Centers is seeking a Reliability Engineer, Control Systems, to own the health of monitoring and control systems across our data center operations in the United States. You will oversee acceptance testing, maintenance planning, and provide technical support to Site Operations teams.

The role requires 5+ years in data center operations, PLC programming experience with Rockwell, Carel and GE systems, and strong skills in Ignition HMI software, Modbus/TCP, BACnet and Ethernet/IP.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field required.
• 5+ years of data center operations or related field experience preferred.
• Plc programming experience with Rockwell Automation, Carel and GE systems.
• Ignition HMI software experience beneficial.
• Strong knowledge of Modbus TCP/IP, BacNET and Ethernet/IP configurations.
• Ability to read Electrical/Mechanical one-line diagrams.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Responsibilities

• Design Verification and Testing: ensure control systems meet design intent during testing.
• Maintenance and Reliability: design maintenance programs to maximize operability and minimize downtime.
• Technical Support: provide troubleshooting support to Site Operations and advise Design Engineering teams.
• Root Cause Analysis: perform RCA and drive corrective actions.
• Collaboration and Training: work with teams to ensure reliability of installations.
