Job summary

SPX Technologies is seeking a Manager, Engineering - Control Systems to lead the development, integration, and validation of embedded control systems for HVAC products. This role provides technical and people leadership across engineering, product management, operations, quality, and supply chain to deliver innovative, reliable solutions while managing resources and supplier relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Controls Engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years in embedded control systems or related disciplines.
• Experience leading technical teams and cross-functional engineering activities.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development, integration, testing, and validation of embedded control systems for HVAC products.
• Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and performance feedback to team members.
• Plan and manage control system development activities aligned with roadmaps.
• Oversee design reviews, ECOs, and supplier interactions to meet requirements.
• Develop BOMs and support cost optimization initiatives.
• Drive continuous improvement of development processes and product quality.
