Job summary

Fulton in Pulaski, NY seeks a skilled Control Systems Developer to design, test, and maintain advanced control systems for industrial equipment. The role involves hardware/software integration, GUI development, and ensuring safe, reliable operation across applications.

You will collaborate with engineering and service teams, require PLC ladder logic proficiency, and C/C++ or C# experience. Some travel is expected as part of development and field support.

Qualifications

• Experience troubleshooting controls hardware and software.
• Formal Training Program or Associate’s degree in Industrial Automation, Computer Science, Mechatronics, Software Engineering or related field, or equivalent industry experience.
• Preferred: 3+ years of PLC ladder logic programming, with C/C++ or C# experience.

Responsibilities

• Controls development: design, develop, and improve control systems including hardware, software and GUI.
• Quality assurance testing to ensure systems meet standards and UX goals.
• Issue resolution through root-cause analysis to restore functionality.
• Provide technical training and support to internal teams and customers.
• Travel to support development, testing, and data collection activities.
• Create and maintain clear technical documentation for stakeholders.
