Job summary

Fulton in Pulaski, NY is seeking a Control Systems Developer to design, test, and maintain complex control systems for commercial equipment. This role requires hands-on hardware testing, software development, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to meet performance targets.

You will translate requirements into reliable, safe equipment, perform hardware qualification, document changes, and travel to support development, training, and field testing.

Qualifications

• Experience troubleshooting controls hardware and software.
• Formal training or associate’s degree in related field.
• 3+ years PLC ladder logic programming plus C/C++/OO experience.

Responsibilities

• Designs, develops, and maintains control systems for complex equipment.
• Performs hardware qualification and systematic validation to ensure quality.
• Troubleshoots, analyzes root causes, and resolves complex system issues.
• Provides training and support to internal teams and customers.
• Willing to travel to support development, training, testing, and data collection.
• Creates and maintains technical documentation and communicates progress to stakeholders.
