Job summary

MaximaTek seeks a detail-oriented Control Engineer to design, develop, and optimize automated control systems across engineering projects. You will bridge hardware design teams, embedded software engineers, and system architects to ensure high efficiency, stability, and compliance.

Responsibilities include end-to-end control algorithm lifecycle, HIL/SIL simulations, and rigorous documentation per ISO standards. Proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink and C/C++ or Python is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Control/Mechanical/Computer Engineering (required).
• 0–5 years in control systems design, dynamic modeling, embedded control, or HIL testing.
• Strong MATLAB/Simulink proficiency for modeling and system simulation.
• Experience with C/C++ or Python for embedded environments.
• Familiarity with sensors and CAN/Ethernet/SPI/UART protocols.
• Excellent technical writing and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee design, modeling, simulation, and hardware implementation of control algorithms.
• Maintain control system documentation and safety analyses per standards.
• Model dynamic systems, derive transfer functions, and perform frequency analysis.
• Identify bottlenecks and design fault-detection and isolation algorithms.
• Develop test plans and conduct HIL/SIL simulations and audits.
• Collaborate with suppliers and cross-functional teams during evaluations.
