Job summary

Capgemini seeks an experienced engineer to develop control algorithms for embedded systems using MATLAB/Simulink. You will design, verify, and validate model-based controllers, supporting auto-code generation and integration across systems.

The role requires 6+ years in similar roles, strong MATLAB/Simulink expertise, and collaboration with software, hardware, and testing teams in a regulated environment.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in similar roles.
• Strong experience with MATLAB, Simulink, and Stateflow.
• Good understanding of Control Theory and closed-loop control system design.
• Experience in Auto Code Generation using Embedded Coder and MATLAB Coder.
• Hands-on experience in Model Verification & Validation (MIL/SIL).
• Knowledge of Embedded C and software development lifecycle.
• Familiarity with JIRA, Git, and Agile methodologies.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop control algorithms and application models using MATLAB, Simulink, and Stateflow.
• Apply control theory principles for design and optimization of embedded control systems.
• Develop and maintain functional models, state machines, control logic, and software requirements.
• Perform Model-in-the-Loop (MIL) and Software-in-the-Loop (SIL) verification and validation.
• Create and execute test cases using Simulink Test and model verification tools.
• Support auto-code generation using Embedded Coder and MATLAB Coder.
• Analyze simulation results, identify defects, and support root cause analysis.
• Collaborate with system, software, testing, and hardware teams for integration and validation.
• Develop technical documentation, test reports, and traceability artefacts.
• Follow ASPICE, CMMI, and project quality processes.
