Job summary

IDES is seeking a highly motivated control systems engineer with programming experience to join our manufacturing team in Kentucky. You will develop and deploy control systems, write PLC programs, and work with cross-functional teams to improve operational efficiency.

A Bachelor’s degree in engineering and strong problem-solving skills are required. Preference for experience with major automation software and design tools; opportunities for growth and hands-on mentorship at IDES.

Responsibilities

• Develop, coordinate, and monitor all aspects of the product
• Suggest methods to improve operational efficiency
• Work cross-functionally with different teams and organizations
• Design automation machine components
• Develop control systems
• Develop PLC programs and embedded software
• Develop and test complex algorithms
• Deploy solutions and troubleshoot issues onsite
