Job summary

Bechtel Corporation seeks a skilled Control Systems Designer to develop 2D/3D CAD designs for earthwork, drainage, roads and foundations on a major semiconductor facility project in Chandler, AZ. This part-time telework role requires in-person attendance at least three days per week.

You will verify drawings, coordinate with multiple engineering disciplines, and help ensure schedule and quality targets are met on a high-stakes site near Intel’s Ocotillo campus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) with 5–8 years of relevant experience, or 9–12 years of related work experience.
• Experience with P&IDs, cable schedules, IO lists and network diagrams is essential.

Responsibilities

• Develops complete Control Systems designs and construction drawings with minimal supervision.
• Constructs and reviews 2D/3D CAD models and documents for quality and accuracy.
• Coordinate with other disciplines to ensure design compliance and constructability.
• Lead task assignments to junior designers on the team and ensure adherence to design standards.
