Vantage Consulting is assisting an industrial boiler manufacturer in identifying a Controls & Field Engineer. You will split time between customer sites and our projects, traveling up to 30% across Indiana's border states and returning home on weekends.
You will work directly with the VP of Engineering and the President, tackling electrical faults, control code issues, and mechanical switch problems using Rockwell PLCs and some Siemens PLCs. Autocad Electrical is a plus.
I'm working with an industrial boiler manufacturer who are looking for a Controls & and Field Engineer to join their team. They cover the 5 states bordering Indiana, and when traveling you will be home at the weekend.
You'll be working directly with the VP of Engineering, and have a close relationship with the President. Genuine family feel with this firm as the current President took it over from his parents and he's been at the heart of the company for the last 20 years, and will go above and beyond for his employees.
They're looking for do-ers, people willing to get stuck in and tackle any kind of problems whether it be code issues, electrical faults or as simple as a switch not doing what it's meant to do.
The majority of their work is all Rockwell, but they do have some customers with Siemens PLCs. You won't need experience in S7, but willingness to work with it would be useful.
Along side the above, you'll need experience/willingness to do the following;
Up to $120,000, 2 stage interview process, the 1st being with the President and then an onsite to meet the rest of the team.
Must be a US Citizen or Greencard holder. Unfortunatley the client cannot sponsor TN Visa, H1B or those on OPT that will need a H1B in the future.
