Job summary

Cerasus in Downtown Indianapolis seeks a Control Room Security Officer to monitor and protect client sites, coordinate security procedures, and respond to incidents to safeguard assets and personnel.

Candidates must be at least 18, hold a high school diploma or equivalent, have strong English reading/writing, pass a background check and drug screen, and possess 1 year of security experience. CPI training may be required. Benefits include medical, life, dental, vision, and a 401K/403b plan.

Job Skills / Requirements

• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem solving manner
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.
• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
• Must be able to read, write, and speak the English Language proficiently.
• Must Pass Computer Literacy Test to show competency in basic technology usage.
• 1 year of verifiable experience in security or comparable industries.
• As a condition of employment must be willing and able to complete Crisis Prevention Institute curriculum.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Cerasus will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
