Job summary

CARBO is seeking a Control Room Operator to manage resin coating and infusion processes from the control room. Responsibilities include operating batch mixers, heaters, coolers, and RTO systems, while ensuring quality through data logging and adjustments.

The role requires 12-hour rotating shifts (nights/weekends possible) and a High School diploma or GED. Prior production or warehousing experience is preferred, with forklift experience beneficial.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in general labor is required.
• Experience as a production operator and ability to analyze data is preferred.
• Experience operating process equipment from an HMI or control room environment is preferred.
• Forklift experience is preferred.
• Warehousing/QC lab experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate the batch mixer using the HMI in the control room and monitor mixing.
• Operate and monitor the batch heater, cooler, screening equipment, RTO, and other process equipment from the control room.
• Log process variables and adjust to meet specifications for quality products.
• Maintain production records and monitor inventory levels.
• Ensure substrate and chemical feed levels support continuous operation.
• Perform grading and packaging of finished products and bagging when required.
• Record scrap and assist with mixer cleanouts and maintenance tasks.
• Maintain good housekeeping in the control room and process area.
• Support safety policies and participate in project work as needed.
