Job summary

Puratos USA is seeking a dedicated Control Room Operator in Pennsauken, NJ (USA HQ Campus) for 3rd shift (10:30 PM – 7:00 AM). You will safely operate automated equipment, monitor quality, and ensure efficient batch production while adhering to SOPs, GMPs, and SQF.

You’ll review MES orders, adjust recipes, coordinate with maintenance, and train new technicians. Requirements: at least 2 years in operations, HS diploma, OT/weekends, PCS/SIemens PCS 7 and SAP experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in operations.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Able to work OT and weekends; able to work 3rd shift.
• PCS experience is mandatory; Siemens PCS 7 experience preferred.
• Proficient in SAP, spreadsheets, databases, and presentations including Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint.
• Working knowledge of OEE principles.
• Experience with master scheduling practices and capacity analysis.
• Experience dealing with a unionized workforce.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate automated and manual equipment; ensure safety and quality.
• Report food safety, quality, and safety issues to supervisor or quality technician.
• Oversee overall safety, quality, and efficiency of the work center.
• Review and start production orders in MES and Simatic batch.
• Update recipes in master control and MES; coordinate with maintenance for improvements.
• Train and mentor control room staff; support other departments.
• Provide RCA and continuous improvement leadership to meet KPIs.
• Handle line cleans and inspections; ensure production is not impeded.

Job Location USA - National Hwy, Pennsauken (NJ)- Puratos US HQ Campus

Control Room Operator observesall Puratos Good Manufacturing Practices, Standard Operating Procedures, and SQF standards. This roleoperatesall manual, automatic and or material handling equipment, safely and efficiently, whilemaintaininghigh quality standards that meet or exceed Puratos and customer requirements.

Shift:10:30 PM - 7 AM

Primary Responsibilities

Must be able to safely work with automated industrial equipment, including operation,changeoversand basic maintenance.

Report all food safety and quality issues to immediate Supervisor and / Quality technician. Immediately report any safety issues to the supervisor,maintenanceor management.

Responsible for the overall safety, quality, and efficiency of their work center

Comply withall company SOP's( specificSOP's particular for Job), GMP's, and SQF (specify regulations)

Review and start production orders in MES and Simatic batch.

Review,compare, updaterecipes in master control and MES.

Communicate with maintenance about necessary improvement and regular p/m's, including WO submissions

Make manual adjustments to recipes that are incorrect and could causeholdproduct.

Identifyand support streamlining projects to improve production when applicable.

Suggest adjustments to staffin order togain maximum production,Identifyproduction changes and suggest corrective actions.

Support and direct all operators, ensure production is not impeded throughout the shift.

Understand and report throughOEEsystem, review and analyze major DT and propose solutions.

Perform cleans on the line and inspections.

Trainnew control room technicians, support all departments in the plant including any new expansion projects

Support and engage with all departments that are not meeting Quality and Efficiency KPIs by leading RCA efforts and continuous improvement projects.

Create troubleshooting documentation and help train to any best practices

Consume and Close MES Production Orders

Requirements

Minimum2years’ experience in operations; High School Diploma/GED

Able to work OT and weekends, Able to work 3rd shift

• PCS experience is mandatory; Siemen's PCS 7 experience is preferred

Proficient in SAP, spreadsheets, databases, and presentations including Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint

Working knowledge of OEE principles

Knowledge of master scheduling practices and capacity analysis.

Experience in dealing with a unionized workforce

Excellent organizational, planning, influence, presentation, and follow-up skills

Physical Demands: Occasional sitting, standing, walking, stooping/twisting, kneeling, squatting, and reaching; constant visual acuity (near/far);occasionallylift upto 75lbs

Compensation

Hourly rate $25.87

Compensation is governed by theunionpay scale, with scheduled step increases as outlined in the collective bargaining agreement.

Additionalcompensation available through overtime pay, quarterly incentive program, referralbonusesand other company programs.
