Securitas Security is seeking a Control Room Operator for Hillsboro, OR. The role offers full-time hours with a nightly shift schedule Sunday through Friday and working weekends, plus a wage of $21.00–$22.00 per hour. You will engage in access control, patrols, incident reporting, and communications within a fast-paced security environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
• Valid driver’s license and clear driving record.
• High School Diploma or GED or ability to complete GED within 6 months.
• Standard computer/technology skills required.
• Customer service background preferred.
• Security, Law Enforcement, or Military experience a plus.
• Must interact with a wide range of people in a calm, professional manner.
• Must work in a fast-paced call center / emergency dispatch environment.
• Pre-employment screening including drug screen and background investigation.

Responsibilities

• Perform access control at security entrances/exits.
• Conduct patrols inside and outside the client’s premises, in various conditions.
• Resolve conflicts and de-escalate situations.
• Interact frequently with client employees and guests.
• Identify and report safety issues, hazards, or suspicious activity.
• Provide detailed written reports.
• Work in a team to achieve site and organizational goals.
• Carry out tasks of similar nature as required for the site.

• Saturday - Tuesday 10pm-6am
• Thursday - Sunday 10pm-6am

• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.
• Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or any suspicious activity.
• Provide detailed written reports.
• Work in a team environment to ensure site / organizational goals are achieved daily.
• Carry out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for assigned site.
