Securitas Security Services USA, Inc. is hiring for a Full-Time Security Control Room Officer in Hillsboro, Oregon. The role covers access control, patrols, and incident reporting across varied shifts, with emphasis on safety, customer service, and teamwork.

You will contribute to guarding client assets, responding to emergencies with calm, professional judgment, and maintaining detailed written records for audits and client reviews. Training and advancement opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver's license and clear driving record preferred.
• High School Diploma, GED, OR ability to complete GED within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Provide conflict resolution and de-escalation at entrances/exits.
• Perform access control and monitor security entrances/exits.
• Conduct patrols inside and outside client premises in various weather/terrains.
• Interact with client employees and guests regularly.
• Identify and report safety issues or suspicious activity; provide detailed written reports.
• Collaborate with team to meet site goals every day.

• Saturday - Tuesday 10pm-6am
• Saturday - Wednesday 6am-2pm
• Day/Swing Shift Flex

• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.
• Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or any suspicious activity.
• Provide detailed written reports.
• Work in a team environment to ensure site / organizational goals are achieved daily.
• Carry out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for assigned site.

Basic Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
• Valid driver's license and clear driving record required.
• High School Diploma, GED, OR ability to complete the GED program within 6 months.
• Standard computer / technology skills needed.
• Customer service background preferred.
• Security, Law Enforcement, or Military experience a plus!!
• Must be able to interact with a wide range of individuals in a calm and professional manner.
• Must have great attention to detail and the ability to remain alert throughout the duration of the shift.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgement and use appropriate escalation.
• All candidates must be willing to participate in the Company’s pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.
