Job summary

Securitas US Business Unit is seeking a Control Room Officer in Manassas, VA. The role focuses on monitoring CCTV and alarms, dispatching, and ensuring security for client sites.

You will provide excellent customer service to client employees and maintain vigilance during shifts. The position requires 2–3 years of data center security and control room experience, with the ability to pass a drug screen and background check, plus licensing as required.

Qualifications

• Previous CCTV, alarm monitoring, and dispatching experience.
• 2–3 years of data center security experience.
• 2–3 years of control room operator experience.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Must pass drug screen and background check.
• Must meet applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for Control Room Officer.

Responsibilities

• Observes and reports activities and incidents at an assigned client site, ensuring security and safety of client property and personnel.
• Maintains constant monitoring of premises, including patrolling various locations.
• Provides customer service and information to client employees and customers.
• Frequently sits, stands, walks, climbs stairs and walks on uneven terrain for extended periods.
• Lifts and moves up to 10 pounds regularly; occasionally lifts up to 25 pounds.
