Meyer Utility Structures is currently looking to hire a Control Process Operator for our plant operation located in Fort Worth, TX. A Control Process Operator sets up and operates machines, may use blueprints, make adjustments for materials used, verify dimensional requirements, and transfer materials to storage areas.

Schedule: Mon- Fri 5:00am - 3:30pm with occasional MANDATORY overtime on Saturdays!
What You’ll Do
  1. Operate machines such as 20' Break Press, 26’ Break Press, 60' Break Press, Plasma Table, and Kinetic (Drill Press).
  2. Form and/or cut materials into predesignated shapes and sizes.
  3. Operate overhead cranes to move materials safely.
  4. Troubleshoot equipment and make basic adjustments.
  5. Make decisions regarding quality, tolerances, and operation sequence.
  6. Follow all safety rules and practices.
  7. Perform other duties as assigned.
What You’ll Need
  1. Minimum of 1 year of experience operating a 20’ or larger break press, Plasma Table, or Drill Press, preferably with steel up to 2” thick.
  2. Ability to read blueprints and verify dimensional requirements.
  3. Reliable and predictable attendance.
  4. Ability to stand throughout the day, climb on/off equipment, and lift materials over 50 pounds regularly.
  5. Dependability, a positive attitude, and teamwork skills.
