Job summary

AquaPhoenix Scientific in Fort Worth, TX seeks an experienced Control Panel Production Fabricator to assemble and wire electrical panels from drawings and schematics. This hourly, full-time role requires precision with components like PLCs, HMIs, sensors and motor controls, and the ability to meet safety and quality standards.

You will read blueprints, assemble enclosures, configure networking devices, and collaborate with engineering to resolve build issues.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required with 3–5 years in electrical/mechanical fabrication or related industry.
• Ability to read blueprints, electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Experience with electrical panels, PLCs, HMIs and industrial controls is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, P&IDs and wiring diagrams.
• Assemble and wire electrical panels and enclosures using hand and power tools.
• Configure industrial networking devices, modems, Ethernet switches, and remote communications.
• Mount and connect components such as relays, circuit breakers, terminals, and PLCs.
• Perform mechanical work including cutting, drilling, and tapping.
• Conduct quality checks to ensure panels meet safety and performance standards before shipment.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve build issues.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with safety standards.
• Able to work overtime as required to meet customer requirements and business needs.
• Physically able to stand, sit, bend, twist for extended periods of time and safely lift up to 50 lbs.
