Job summary

Milliken & Company is seeking a CET at its Cushman site in Williamston, SC. The role maintains plant production and auxiliary equipment to ensure high-quality products and on-schedule production, with proper records and parts inventories.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting electrical/mechanical systems, reading electrical drawings, and collaborating with maintenance and production staff to prevent failures while upholding Milliken's safety standards.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve problems.
• Able to work with vendors, customers, and Milliken associates individually or in teams.
• Capable of managing multiple activities and using resources creatively.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical/electronic equipment including programmable controls, numerically controlled devices, power supplies, drives, gauges and test equipment.
• Reinstall guards and safety equipment correctly after completion of any work.
• Ensure DC/AC motors, breakers and other equipment switches are in good working order.
• Read electrical drawings and ensure electrical components of machinery operate properly.
• Assist other engineering associates to perform work to keep production machinery and auxiliary equipment in working order.
• Inform management and production staff of potential electrical/mechanical problems and related dangers.
• Assist maintenance personnel with technical troubleshooting.
• Demonstrate a high level of safety consciousness and participate in the Milliken Safety Process.
