Job summary

Milliken & Company in Williamston, SC is seeking a CET to maintain production equipment and auxiliary systems. This role reports to Engineering and ensures machinery operates at or above expected condition, keeping maintenance records and parts inventory up to date.

The CET will support mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical systems, read electrical drawings, and collaborate with maintenance and production teams to minimize downtime and maintain quality output.

Qualifications

• Two-year technical degree in an electrical-related field.
• Through knowledge of electrical/electric components and equipment including PC hardware components, desktop operating system software and application software.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical/electronic equipment including but not limited to programmable controls, numeral controls, power supplies drives, gages and test equipment
• Reinstall guards and safety equipment correctly after completion of any work
• Ensure D.C. /A.C. motors, breakers and other equipment switches are in good working order.
• Read electrical drawings and ensure electrical components of machinery are operating properly.
• Assist other engineering associates to perform work as required to keep production machinery and auxiliary equipment in working order.
• Inform appropriate management and maintenance/production associates of potential electrical/mechanical problems and inherent dangers involved.
• Assist Maintenance personnel with technical troubleshooting
• Demonstrate a high level of safety consciousness and fully participate in the Milliken Safety Process
