Job summary

Milliken & Company in the United States is seeking a maintenance technician to perform mechanical and electrical maintenance on plant equipment across the facility. You will troubleshoot electrical issues, repair HVAC systems, and run conduit and wiring as required.

The role involves welding, metal fabrication, and operating various shop tools. Strong reading, writing, math, and computer skills are essential, with adherence to safety procedures and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

Must have previous electrical maintenance experience, preferably textile related, including greige manufacturing.
Must be able to read and write and have good communication skills.
Basic math and computer skills are required.
Must be able to lift and move loads up to 50 lbs.
Competency testing may be required.
Must be cleared by Occupational Nurse for vision and color vision.
Must be able to read control diagrams.

Responsibilities

Perform mechanical and electrical maintenance on plant/facility equipment.
Troubleshoot and diagnose machine or equipment electrical issues and repair as needed.
Run conduit and wire equipment.
Weld (Stick and Mig) and fabricate parts as needed.
Maintain, repair, and clean pumps, motors, and HVAC-related components.
Follow safety rules and maintain organized work area.
