Job summary
Prime Hiring Solutions in Minnesota is seeking a Control Engineer to support automated assembly operations. You will troubleshoot real-time control system issues, program PLCs, integrate vision inspection systems, and assist manufacturing software deployment.
You will configure Pivotware and Proplanner, calibrate cameras and lighting, review electrical schematics, and support installation, testing, and commissioning of cells.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Engineering Technology.
- Hands-on experience with Pivotware, Proplanner, and Detect-It Vision Inspection.
- PLC programming experience (Rockwell or Siemens).
- Knowledge of machine vision, industrial cameras, and lighting.
- Experience with torque tools, scanners, and pick-to-light systems.
- Knowledge of EtherNet/IP and Profinet.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and resolve real-time control system issues.
- Configure and deploy Pivotware software for assembly processes.
- Integrate torque tools, scanners, and pick-to-light systems.
- Use Proplanner to manage manufacturing BOMs, routing, and time studies.
- Set up and calibrate industrial cameras, lenses, and lighting.
- Develop and modify PLC logic and HMI screens.
- Review electrical schematics and industrial network layouts.
- Support installation, testing, and commissioning of automated assembly cells.
