Our client, a leader in automation technology, is seeking a Control Engineer to join their team. As a Control Engineer, you will be part of the engineering department supporting innovative projects. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a collaborative mindset which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Control Engineer

Location: Princeton, Minnesota

Pay Range: $80,000 - $110,000

What's the Job?

• Design and program equipment to meet Erdman and customer build specifications using standard procedures.
• Conduct safety circuit design and programming via safety PLC.
• Perform risk assessments and implement associated safety devices.
• Travel to customer sites for installation and startup of equipment, averaging 25% travel.
• Document control systems for various types of automated equipment.
  
  

What's Needed?

• 5 years of experience in designing and programming control systems for automated equipment.
• Proficiency with PLC, HMI, Robot, AutoCAD, Motion Control, Pneumatics, and Hydraulics.
• Experience with AutoCAD, Studio 5000, RS 500, and FactoryTalk View.
• UL 508 certified design knowledge.
• Ability to specify components and perform electrical/pneumatic design.
