Base pay range

$60.00/hr - $65.00/hr

There is travel involved in this position, about 75%

Travel will be mainly in the US but we also have some international projects in countries like Japan, Indonesia, Australia and Canada. We also have some projects that will be awarded to us shortly, both of them in Europe. It’s tough to determine exactly because it depends on confirmed orders.

Client will pay the travel expenses (air tix, hotel, car rental and gas) and per diem which is $55 per day

The Control Engineer:

• will be working directly under the Technical Manager

• will be preparing or reviewing PLC programs and HMI screens in the office. The ideal candidate will also have experience with the following:

• Fanuc Robots experience would be a plus but is not required

• will be part of the Ignition SCADA development and commissioning

• will be reviewing electrical drawings and update drawing with Autocad Electrical

Required:

The successful candidate must meet at least the following criteria:

• Control and Electrical engineering background

• Commissioning and control experience, 3 to 5 years of experience

• Know how to program with Allen Bradley and Siemens PLCs

• Have a curious mind and be interested by all aspect of an automated handing system (robots, controls, mechanical, functionality, electrical).

• Have the knowledge to read, design or improve electrical control systems, equipment, and machinery.

• Ideally, have some FANUC robot programming knowledge and Ignition knowledge
