Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Controls Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in industrial controls and automation.
• Strong expertise with PLC platforms (e.g., Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Schneider).
• Experience with HMI/SCADA development.
• Proficiency in industrial communication protocols (EtherNet/IP, Modbus, Profinet).
• Experience with motion control, servo systems, and VFD integration.
• Ability to read and create electrical schematics.
• Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 30% as required.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop control systems architecture for industrial equipment and automation systems.
• Program and troubleshoot PLCs, HMIs, SCADA systems, and industrial robotics.
• Develop electrical schematics, panel layouts, and I/O lists.
• Lead system integration, testing, and commissioning activities (on-site and remote).
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and best practices.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system requirements and project scope.
• Support proposal development, cost estimation, and technical documentation.
• Diagnose and resolve complex field issues and implement long-term corrective actions.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives for system performance and reliability.
