Overview

As a Controls Engineer, you'll play a pivotal role in developing, designing, implementing, and supporting industrial control systems and panels used in fuel management applications. Collaborate with a talented team of engineers to create innovative standardized and custom solutions.

Key Responsibilities

1. Collaborate on electrical and controls design for new and existing products.
2. Program PLCs for OEM equipment.
3. Design and develop industrial control panels using AutoCAD Electrical.
4. Provide technical support to production, project management, and sales teams.
5. Drive innovation through cost-saving initiatives and product enhancement ideas.
6. Create system manuals, installation instructions, and detailed documentation.
7. Ensure designs meet specifications, budget, and schedule.

What We’re Looking For:

1. Required Qualifications:
2. Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (or related field) with 3+ years of experience, or 10+ years of equivalent hands-on experience.
3. AutoCAD Electrical expertise.
4. Knowledge of PLC programming (ladder logic, function block).
5. Familiarity with UL Standards and product feasibility/design for manufacturing (DFM).
6. Excellent communication skills and problem-solving abilities.
7. Preferred Qualifications:
8. Experience with UL-508a Standards.
9. Proficiency in working with PLCs such as Rockwell (CompactLogix), Siemens, Unitronics, or Wago (Codesys).
