In addition to a good sense of job satisfaction, we also offer:
We not only offer job stability & job security, but career development pathways for you to transition into Supervisory or Operational Management level roles. The centre is open24/6and whilst you will cover various shift patterns (which will include evenings, night shifts & weekends), we do operate on a rota basis that allows you the flexibility to enjoy meaningful time off to do the things you love (we typically work on average 12-hour shifts, 4 out of 7 days per week on a rota basis but we also offer flexible working options)
What you’ll do day to day:
Firstly, you will be responsible for the planning and scheduling of vehicles to ensure the safe transport of custodies in line with the agreed service delivery. You will work closely with our crews & establishments (Prisons, Courts etc) to ensure custodies are transported on time and in a safe & secure manner. Using a number of IT applications you will be responsible for monitoring the vehicles and responding to emergency alarms raised by crews. You will work with multiple agencies ensuring the safe and secure delivery of the custodies return to their destination! It does not always run smoothly though, so you will need to be quick on your feet to adapt to any unpredictable changes and deal with any incidents or challenges that occur throughout the day!
What you need to do the role:
If you are detail oriented, highly organised, resilient with exceptional communication skills, then we want to hear from you! Ideally, you will have previous experience in a similar role, when you have been involved in organising large scale logistics / scheduling plans in a large geographical area! You will be computer literate with the ability to quickly assimilate large volumes of data/information. Experience is not essential as we will provide full training, however if you do have experience in a similar role, it would be highly beneficial.
