Job summary

SEPTA is seeking a Control Center Information Manager (CCIM) to manage timely service disruption information for riders across all modes. You will coordinate announcements, monitor operations, and liaise with Media Relations and Customer Service to ensure accurate communications.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree and the ability to work all shifts, including weekends and holidays, with strong writing and technical literacy. SEPTA offers comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

Demonstrated ability to write clearly for general public audiences and translate technical info into plain language.
Ability to remain composed and make sound decisions in fast-paced control center environments.
Strong technical literacy and ability to learn new computer equipment/software.

Responsibilities

Publish service disruption alerts using the Alert Management Tool across SEPTA apps and social channels.
Make passenger announcements at Metro stations and Transit Centers via PA system.
Direct Regional Rail Announcers to coordinate timely, accurate station announcements.
Coordinate with Customer Service and Media Relations to share information.
Review incident records and update tickets within established timelines.
Monitor elevators visibility and ADA compliance via SEPTA tools.
