Job summary

Airborne Maintenance & Engineering Services is seeking a Contract Specialist to draft, negotiate, and manage contracts supporting our aviation operations in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. You will ensure compliance with legal, financial, and company standards, collaborate with internal teams and customers, and maintain contract documentation throughout the lifecycle.

This role requires strong drafting and negotiation skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 2 years of Contract Specialist experience, or Associate's with 4 years, or 6 years in the role
• Experience with contract drafting and negotiation and understanding of legal/financial standards
• Ability to communicate effectively with employees, management, and customers
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and database software
• Driver's license required

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts
• Ensure contracts comply with legal, financial, and regulatory standards
• Collaborate with internal teams and customers to support contract execution
• Maintain contract documentation and records
• Support contract lifecycle activities including modifications, renewals, and closeout
• Communicate contract status and risks to stakeholders
