Job summary

Referment, collaborating with a global investment and technology firm, seeks a legal analyst to support contracts and privacy work. You will assist with document prep, contract review and privacy process development to help a complex international business run smoothly.

Ideal candidates have analytical and editorial strengths, with 1–3 years post-graduate experience in investment/financial services; JD not required as this is an operational, editorial role focused on risk and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 1–3 years of post‑graduate professional experience.
• Direct experience in Investment Management or Financial Services is essential.
• Background in Communications or similar field with strong writing/editing is desirable.
• Interest in privacy, legal and commercial risk, with ability to learn quickly.
• Excellent organisation, analysis, editing and proofreading skills.
• Strong project-management habits and attention to detail.
• Exposure to contracts or privacy principles is beneficial; non‑attorney role.

Responsibilities

• Prepare contract templates, supporting documents and process materials.
• Review and comment on counterparty terms under attorney guidance.
• Review marketing materials, client-facing slides and communications for legal accuracy and risk.
• Maintain privacy policies and notices; help implement new privacy requirements.
• Support data-privacy impact assessments, contract management and related compliance work.
• Coordinate projects, keeping documents accurate and stakeholders informed.
