Job summary

The South Carolina Department of Health and Human Services is seeking a Program Manager I (State Contracts Manager) to supervise the Contracts Section within the Bureau of Policy in Richland County. This in-office role focuses on leadership, contract development, performance, and compliance across multiple contract areas.

You will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure best practices, manage budgets, and report on contract deliverables, while supporting program initiatives

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in public administration or public health with 5 years of relevant experience.
• Master’s degree in public administration or public health with 3 years of relevant experience.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered with approval.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and oversee the Contracts Section within the Bureau of Policy.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure best practices and standards.
• Manage contract budgets, invoicing, deliverables and reporting requirements.
• Drive program improvements based on regulatory guidance and stakeholder input.
