Contracts Manager – Electrical Utilities

Location: The Woodlands, TX

Our client, a leading electrical utilities firm, is seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to provide contract management services within their New Generation PMO group.

As Contracts Manager, you will support the administration of EPC contracts for the construction of multiple Combined Cycle Gas Turbine (CCGT) projects across the Gulf Coast region.

Candidates for this Contracts Manager opportunity must have a thorough understanding of EPC contracts, ideally from the Owner’s perspective.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide contract management services within the PMO, supporting the administration of EPC contracts for combined cycle gas turbine new-build projects.
  • Support the development and execution of contract strategies, including change management, claims support, and commercial risk mitigation across multiple projects.
  • Act as the day-to-day commercial interface between Entergy, EPC contractors, engineering teams, and project stakeholders to address contractual matters and support issue resolution.
  • Track and report contractor compliance with EPC contract requirements, including milestones, payment applications, performance obligations, and commercial entitlements.
  • Prepare contract correspondence, commercial reports, and provide input into PMO governance processes to support consistent execution across Entergy’s generation portfolio.
  • Demonstrate a strong work ethic and the ability to work effectively in a project-driven environment.
  • Be customer-facing and capable of interacting with all levels of project and executive management.
