Fireworks AI is seeking a Commercial Counsel to join its growing legal team. You will own commercial contracting across the deal lifecycle, drafting, negotiating, and closing customer agreements while partnering with sales and marketing teams.
You will also handle vendor agreements and build scalable contract templates. We expect a JD and bar admission, 9+ years of experience, and an ability to translate complex legal terms into practical business guidance.

- A JD and membership in at least one US state bar.
- Strong command of commercial contracting, able to operate independently and in negotiations.

As Commercial Counsel, you'll be a foundational member of a growing legal team, serving as a trusted partner to our go‑to‑market organization as it scales rapidly. You'll own commercial contracting across the deal lifecycle - drafting, negotiating, and closing customer agreements - and show up confidently and credibly across the table with our customers and partners. Beyond core sales support, you'll also counsel our marketing team on sponsorship and partnership agreements, and handle standard vendor and procurement matters. This role initially reports to the General Counsel.
- Serve as lead commercial counsel on customer contracts, NDAs, and related agreements supporting the sales organization.

- A JD and membership in at least one US state bar.

Total compensation for this role also includes meaningful equity in a fast‑growing startup, along with a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package. Base salary is determined by a range of factors including individual qualifications, experience, skills, market data, and work location.
