Major, Lindsey & Africa’s Interim Legal Talent group is seeking on behalf of our corporate client a Contracts Manager and CLM/CMS Specialist (Ironclad). This is an interim opportunity with the possibility of conversion.

Overview

Contracts Manager & CLM/CMS Specialist (Ironclad)

Company:

B2B Distribution of Electrical Products, Solutions and Related Services Company, Charleston, SC

Experience:

Demonstrated substantial experience in contracts management, processes, contracts management systems.

Location:

100% Remote with a preference for Hybrid (Charleston, SC)

Responsibilities Include:

1. Work on contract repository structuring, build-out, maintenance, Ironclad training and deployment to include implementation of newly developed contracts playbooks, riders, and SOPs.
2. Coordinate review and execution of documents and contracts in Ironclad and liaise in and on Ironclad with the company’s sixteen operating companies and shared service departments (i.e., be the company’s “Ironclad Guru”).
3. Support training efforts and provide training and guidance on newly implemented playbooks, SOPs, and riders, Ironclad, and contracting processes. Ensure effective improvements in contracting processes across departments and regions.
4. Address the challenges of a decentralized organization, organize existing contracts and improve accessibility.
5. Support the business by drafting, reviewing, and managing contracts across multiple U.S. departments and regions.

Qualifications Include:

1. Demonstrated experience (5-10+ years) and background in contracts management and systems.
2. Experience working with CLM (Contract Lifecycle Management) and CMS (Contract Management Systems), Ironclad required.
3. Experience with sophisticated, complex agreements, ideally in global distribution or manufacturing industry.
4. Experience training and managing others.
5. Paralegal Certificate or BA Degree.
6. U.S. citizenship (required as some documents may involve U.S. DoD and Regulated Utilities projects).
7. Experience training in-house employees on using Ironclad.
8. Experience managing cross-functional teams.
9. Ability to relate to employees from the admin level up to senior-level executives across sales, legal, management, etc.
10. Contracts Management experience in the distribution, industrial, utilities, or manufacturing industries. Self-starter with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, shifting environment.

Compensation:

$50 to $75 per hour, depending on relevant experience, background, and qualifications.
